Sure the Patriots won but they lost and they now appear to be mortal. The Colts were embarrassed by Bears. The Chargers lost at home (non-sellout) on a last second play.

The AFC is wide open. I'm curious to know how y'all feel about things after the first week of the season.

I am ecstatic that football is back and unlike many here it seems I am looking forward to watching the Chiefs. :toast:

One week is too little to learn much at all. Still, I'll take my stab.

Colts
Steelers

How bad will this team have to perform for Clark to pull the plug on Dictator Carl AND Herm... that is what I'm focused on

I wonder if the balance of power is starting to shift back to the NFC?

I don't think David Garrard is nearly as good as he played last year. He's a solid qb, but he isn't anything close to being an elite one. He wasn't very good in 2006 and while he broke out last year, I don't think he will be nearly that efficient in years to come.

Dont sleep on the Eagles. McNabb was dominant.

Well, there's Dallas who looked very good. Uh, the Bears, even though it was one game. There's the Giants.

Kinda early to say right now, but you could be right on this.

They played the NFC version of the Chiefs.

I can't hitch onto that wagon just yet.

You know who Brodie Croyle needs as a coach? Steve Mariucci

With all the crazy things to talk about... I think Michael Turner really got overshadowed a bit. He had an amazing first start for the Falcons. He has the talent to have a monster year.

He's good, but he also played the Lions.

Yes, yes, he's the big reason my fantasy team already has 162 points with 2 guys to play tomorrow.

Dallas looks head and shoulders above everyone else. That's really the only thing I could take from this week other than the fact that two teams from Missouri will have the first two picks of the draft.

Believe me I was completely aware of what he did because I ****ing had to face him in one of my fantasy leagues. He single handedly defeated my team.

We ruined another team's season in less than ten minutes.

That's something.

If we could apply career-ending injuries to EVERY quarterback we face for the next 3-4 years we might eventually dominate the league.

Maybe that's Herm's plan?

Knock out all the OTHER quarterbacks and protect your own from retaliation with ultra-conservative gameplans. WIN BY ATTRITION!!!!

It looks like the Rams may have a larry johnson situation on their hands with Steven Jackson. He looked completely horrible out there

ill shout it once again.

-if our d-line doesnt get better pressure the soft zone gun/herm is running with the corners we have will get us killed all day long underneath and then over the top.-

if brady would have played the whole game the score would have been 30-10.
