Do we have a hope or prayer he is our coach next year?

Nope, and I can't understand for the life of me why people want him here.
He's more of the same. Marty and Herm all rolled up into one square-jawed package.
not this shit again. LMAO

Cowher is basically a more competent Herm. His defenses are better than Herm's but his offenses are almost identical.
We need fresh blood. Someone completely new. I liked Jason Garrett from Dallas but it seems impossible now.

I'd rather have a fresh face with no past ties to the Chiefs. Just say no to the Marty clones.

For the 1,000th time ... Herm's job is secure through the 2009 season ... it's a bit too early to bring up coaching changes.

Why would Cowher want to come here?

I guess we might as well get used to this dumb shit appearing every week after a loss.
So approximately, 14 more weeks.

Why would Cowher want to come here?
To insure the ineptness at the QB position for another decade.
Cowher should have won 4 Super Bowls with the Steelers but instead chose to play schlubs that were worse than Huard until Rothlisberger was drafted.
When suddenly, they went 15-1! And won a Super Bowl two years later!
Imagine that! A first round QB winning a Super Bowl!
Unheard of around these parts!

I will only believe that when it happens.
If this season sucks, as many expect, I see HE being fired. We need a HC that is in tune with the modern NFL. His mode of operation is using the same type of defense he used as a player, eons ago. Just doesn't work today.

Hell, if we're throwing out random names, then I'd like to suggest Geep Chryst. :D

God I hope not.
Maybe we could get Marty as GM, too, and then I'd kill myself and you'd all be saved from my sarcastic (lack of) wit.

oh please, oh please, oh please!!! Cower is a proven winner. period! That SB ring he has was from the "modern" NFL, by the way.
How bout some new blood, new ideas.
Why don't we do what great teams have done in the past? Bring in a coach that will fill his staff with future head coaches. Bring in someone with new ideas that wants to create a dynasty.....
