I remember watching him kick ass in a preseason game last year (was it the Giants?). Is he not on a team any longer?

The Pillsburry ThrowBoy IS left handed, and would be able to see the savage beating he's going to have coming from our pathetic right side of the O line.

...so then he would flick away the rushers from the right side with his little (actually: excessively fat) pinkie on his right hand, grab the pie stuffed under his jersey and swallow it whole, and then fling it to Bowe deep in the end zone who would be in such a hurry to run with it (where?? he's already in the end zone!) that he'd drop it.

Yeah, I actually like him better than the Thigpen project. He always seems to be impressive in his preseason appearances. I think the reason he hasn't gotten a start is that he's always on teams with franchise QB's.

I'd say at least work him out. Simms and Rattay aren't that thrilling anyway.

He can probably do a better job than McIntosh at RT.

LOL! He's a perfect fit then. He doesn't need D-Mac, Lorenzen can be his own lineman.

Wrong. Go back and review his mobility. He's a fast fat guy. Probably faster than any guys on our roster. I think this is an excellent idea. I honestly think this guy could be good. Teams just don't want to take a chance on a fat quarterback. I mean, Jamarcus actually kind of looks muscular, but Lorenzen is well, just fat.

I'll be skewered for this and probably deservedly so. But I was thinking why not put in a call to Jake Plummer? He's not doing much and probably could use some extra scratch by now.

I always think we should acquire him since our OL sucks.
he might be the only QB survive Herm's Offense.

The important factor would be that this big bastard would likely survive the Herm Edwards QB woodchipper....

I think he got some PT when Eli got hurt IIRC.

I plan on signing Jared. He's a good kid. I want to poke his belly.
