I hope to God the Chiefs are smart enough to at least look at this kid... put him on the practice squad for awhile at the least.

Yes. We need another injury prone QB...

He had ONE major injury and the fact that he cam back from it is pretty amazing. I don't see him being "injury prone" at all. Hell, half his throwing arm is titanium now... pretty hard to injure!

Mauk's kinda smallish isn't he?

I can't believe he was out for as long as he was with that one injury. Some guys aren't tough I guess

He's claiming that he was also hurt his freshmen year--thus, it was a medically necessary redshirt and he should get another year of eligibility.

I'd rather wait for Riley Skinner anyway. Sadly, Mauk's injury helped Wake Forest...

yes, but we all know that claim is bogus. He only has the one catastrophic injury...

The only negative I see is that he only had the ONE really good year (last year)... but look at what he did in high school and when he actually played.... pretty impressive

Wake Forest is my team, so I'm probably less impressed by him because of his middling performance while he was a Demon Deacon. He did have a nice year at Cincy, but he just doesn't excite me much.

I'll admit that I was thrilled when he signed originally with Wake Forest, though.

Not really. You'd like a guy who's 6'3"+ and 220lb.+, really.

I'd rather have a QB taller than 6'2 and upwards of 215.

Again, I am not saying he is going to be anything... BUT he is worth a LOOK... possibly a spot on the practice squad

Not at all. 200lbs is way too ****ing light to be an NFL QB. Look at Croyle, he's 206 and he gets hurt every 3rd time he's tackled

Yeah and I wonder if he really is 206..

If Croyle is 206, I'm 220. And I'm not.

There's a reason why Mauk wanted to play a 6th year of college football.

Then why are you posting in a Ben Mauk thread?

Don't know much about Mauk. Does this mean he will enter the supplemental draft system?

Now, this is just a Mauk draft, but I have Mauk going pretty high in it.
