.. of the 2nd/3rd grade Lawrence Gorillas.

After 4 games, this bunch of scrappy 7/8/9 year-olds has won 4 games, and have yet to give up a score.

First game, against a the Topeka Buccaneers resulted in a 36-0 win.
Second game was against Silver Lake, and we prevailed 6-0.
The third game was against a young Lawrence Lightning team resulting in a 52-0 game. We had to put the first stringers back in late because all the backups were getting worn out going both ways.
Today, against one of the better Lawrence teams, the Gorillas thumped the Twisters 36-0.

Trust me... it's a helluva lot better than watching the f*^$*&%! Chiefs.

I'm a strong supporter of one of the 2nd graders, the backup center and nosetackle. Youngest kid on the team, and the third biggest on the team as well.

Considering our next week's opponent, I'd look for something 30+, and yet another shutout.

We're the Lawrence Gorillas, so just show up topless, and don't shave your back this week.

We have a second grader that looks good for next year, and his first name is Peyton, so yeah, I'm feelin' pretty good about his chances. We have another kid that is commited to coming out next year whose name is Brody, but I think at this point Peyton > Brody.

Don't say that to the Lightning... their record is the same as the Chiefs.
