i saw the "is this the bottom" thread and it got me thinking

what happens when we actually hit the meat of our schedule?

According to Zouk, that is when Herm will get things turned around, and we'll start playing well.

atlanta, tennessee, and miami are the chiefs' only real chances at wins, in my opinion.

Anyone else think we will somehow find a way to lose during the bye week???

As things are I see only three winable games: Atlanta, Oakland and Miami. Of course, there is always the fluke game of the year when someone like Norv Turner dumbs his team down to our level but I don't think we can count on that every year sooo... the only possibilities for improvement this season would be Croyle's return going better than expected and/ or finding a suitable RT. I would also like to see McGraw benched permanently and get Morgan on the field but I'm not really sure how much of an impact that would have overall.

There are different levels of "suck", but a loss is a loss. :)

Yep. Tough team. Especially if they keep Young out.

There’s only one that counts, scoreboard. The rest is trying to call horseshoe rules in a dart game.

When Herm enters the stadium in New York, before the start of our football game, I expect there to be a stadium full of laughter.

I fail to see why that is so funny.

If anyone knows the levels of suck, shouldn't it be me?
(Yeah, have fun with that one.)

Simple.
Tony Gonzales and Donnie Edwards give us the only credibility we deserve enroute to a 3-13 season.

It's funny, Mr. oldandslow. Peeps diss the Tacks on a regular basis because, on the surface, they always look like crap. Every year, it's the same thing ... if it isn't cap problems, it's serious player issues. If it isn't serious player issues, they don't have a stadium to play in. Every year, most peeps think they're going to be nothing short of horrific. I do, too.

Then, every year, they wind up winning a ton of games. Right now, they're 2 and 0 with Kerry Collins at QB and doing it with defense. They are the most peculiar team in the entire league.

Our bye week will be a make-up game since nobody showed up for yesterday's scheduled game. The Chiefs will lose that one as well.

If we lose up to the bye I don't see how Herm could keep his job. Then again I can see him get a chance to beat the Jets after the bye. If we lose to the Jets it's 15 in a row. The madness has to be stopped.
