Ha ha. that's the truth. Usually they have a poll on kcchiefs.com like "Will the Chiefs bounce back against the Broncos? Yes/No. Surely they won't be dumb enough to post that.

The Kansas City Chiefs General Manager,President and Chief Executive Officer was proven right this year when the fans of the team weren't "True" enough to continue supporting the team during a rebuilding effort.

The Chiefs General Manager,President and Chief Executive Officer, Carl Peterson graciously resisted any rebuilding plan even while being endlessly mocked about his fictional 5 year super bowl plan. Peterson knew one thing that the mean-spirited KC media didn't know. The fans aren't savvy enough to know what it takes to rebuild an NFL team. They wouldn't know how much patience and discipline it would take from them.

So finally after being brow-beaten for his faithful and productive 15 years of service, Carl Peterson allow his friend to do what he had previously refused to do ... put faith in the fans of the Kansas City Chiefs.

As soon as the going got rough, the fans got going ... right away from supporting the team.
