I would not be the least surprised to not only see harrington brought in, but starting by week 8

Sargeant mediocre and his quiver cannon maybe?

So I think he's better than Huard, but it's a bad idea.

I think it was DV that had wood for him than anything.

Check out the list of Pro Bowl players picked after Sims:

Roy Williams
John Henderson
Dwight Freeney
Jeremy Shockey
Albert Haynesworth
Javon Walker
Ed Reed
Lito Sheppard

BTW, the Raiders had a horrible draft that year. Phillip Buchanon at # 17 and Nap Harris was picked at # 23. ROFL

Freeney would've sucked with us. In fact, anybody we drafted in Sims's spot would've busted.

harrington > huard

Harrington at least could be a somewhat credible backup in years to come for the QB whom we determine is the future. He is 5 years younger than Huard and does not have the ghey goatee.

I would like to see Harrington on the field over any of the scrubs we have now.... at least until the end of the year when we can draft a QB.

It's just because his name is Joey.

A Joey is a baby kangaroo. Maybe ... just maybe, with his help, we could institute the "Hoppy O" where we leap like crazy, giant, red frogs over the enemy defense for the first down.

Huard is better than anything we have right now.....bringing someone in at QB (considering who's available out there) isn't going to solve anything.

Harrington might be better than any of our QB's, but why bother? He needs to pursue his music career.

Didn't he refuse to come to KC after he was released form the Lions?

I remember there was an issue with him and KC when he first became a FA but I can't remember exactly what it was.

From what i remember, he refused to be traded to the chiefs during the draft, carl and millen were trying to work out a deal when he refused the trade we took croyle with our next pick.

Anything that keeps ups from trading the #1 overall pick for Brady Quinn is a good thing.

That doesn't make any sense. We were still good then - why the hell would anybody rather play for the Lions than us?

Because at the time he was still starting for the lions and he didnt want to come to the chiefs and sit behind Trent Green.
