This is an excerpt from a Yahoo article having to do with the congressional investigation of AIG for going tits up and needing an emergency $85 billion in relief.

".....The hearing is the second in two days into financial excesses and regulatory mistakes that have spooked stock and credit markets and heightened fears about a global recession.

Rep. Waxman opened the hearing by lambasting the company for spending more than $440,000 to hold a weeklong retreat for its executives at a luxury resort in California less than a week after receiving its $85 billion federal bailout...."

What a bunch of ass hats. Good thing we floated them $85 billiion so that all the executives could get a nice vacation paid for by the taxpayers. ****'em all

Corporate welfare.

Working class people can't pay their mortgages, but companies can knowingly take unnecessary risks only to have taxpayers bail them out later.

It's incredible how many people drank the kool-aid on this bailout. It was claimed that we needed it a few hundred politicians and fed bankers, thus it must be true, despite THOUSANDS more economists saying this was a bad idea.

BUT WE NEED IT LOL.

The guys who do that are pretty funny. If you get bored, go to youtube some month and start out with Red Vs Blue Episode 1, and work your way up. They do jump shark around 40, but come back and get things squared up later.

It started sucking when they started focusing too much on the story. I don't think it ever recovered, either.

I've actually liked this seasons. Having watched all the episodes in less than a week helped not be too annoyed by the change, but they couldn't have went on very long the way you liked it.

Yeah.. I did that too. Excepting the last season, which wasn't finished yet. The last two were really the only ones I didn't care for. I don't know that the problem was necesarrily the story-driven nature of those episodes, but regardless, they just weren't very funny. In my opinion.

Shouldn't part of abailout include getting RID of the executives as an exchange. They obviously can't run the business.
