Earlier we talked about ways for making higher education available to more of our fine young people so that America retains its competetive edge in production and ingenuity. Today we're going to talk about our plan for making sure the edge starts at the earliest levels of American education.

Before we do, however, we must again illustrate how backward thinking our opponents are on this issue, demonstrating little foresight for education in the 21st century. Here we have Bad Girl explaining where she thinks the majority of our young people should get their education*:

If the internet has demonstrated anything, its that you really don't need education credentials to be an expert. I think most young Americans could get most of what they need to get by through advice from their peers.

Or, this from Direckshun, at a political rally in San Diego*:

For too long, witch doctors have been excluded from teaching in the public school system. I say, if they have a PhD, they should be put in close contact with our children!

--Direckshun

And, this from Joey, surrounded by his campaign team*:

Education should focus on new advancements in human achievement, such as fire, and the wheel!

Is this really the vision of the future we want from these candidates? Is this really the vision of the candidates themselves we want representing ChiefsPlanet Americans?

The Cronus/Simply Red platform is different. We want to transition the current system from a paper-based system to a computer-based system. A computer-based system offers many benefits for the 21st century:

1. It get kids acclimated to the technology at an early age

2. Computer-based systems not only speed learning, they can help determine the best learning system for each individual kid. Teachers no longer have to go by a "one size fits all" program as the computer can adapt the lesson via the learning method the child best responds to

3. Computer-based learning systems never get tired. Repetition of rote memory items via computers has limitless patience and infinite practice

4. Computer-based programs can track your child's educational preferences. Today, we have computer programs that track your spending habits and taylor advertisments that appeal to them. We can make this technology work in our children's favor, accenting preferences and ensuring shortcommings get the extra attention they require

5. Computer-based systems dramatically decrease paper costs. Good for the environment, good for the budget

Finally, you may ask, "Wouldn't that be expensive?" In our next installment, we'll outline an innovative strategy that makes the cost of transition and advancement minimal if not free! Where do you get innovation and insight, not only in education, but across the board on issues that matter to you? Cronus/Simply Red, that's where! Cronus/Simply Red is the only logical choice for ChiefsPlanet Americans!
