There's a place out here called Old Country Buffet that is largely shit. There's 1 though that is far and away above the rest. Otherwise, aside from the occasional Chinese buffet, I don't really do them.

Doubled up. Outside of some really bad luck I should at least cash in this bitch. Fuck, I hope so. I've been playing for over 3 hours and it's down to the nitty gritty.

Use to be Biloxi, MS. Had lobster tails, King crab legs, already cut open on one side with a band saw and oysters plus the usual buffet for a casino.
They figured out making crab legs easier to get to was costly and stopped it about 5 years ago.
:cuss:
They still have a crawdad, potato and corn festival for all you can eat for $5.00 (If you do not go gambling, anyway)
We were on the road one time and the bus stopped at some cheap exit buffet. They had about nine kinds of pudding in the form of a giant, mystical, pudding extravaganza. They had vanilla pudding, dark chocolate pudding, milk chocolate pudding, rice pudding, banana pudding, lemon pudding, pudding with chocolate chips, pudding with tiny, little marshmellows, and a fantastic swirl pudding that was a mix of both vanilla and chocolate all glommed together into a type of super pudding. As an extra added bonus, you could dump all kinds of other stuff like banana chips or raisins in your pudding if you so desired.
I had about 7 big bowls of pudding instead of the crusty spaghetti or the strange chicken fried steak hunks. Not bad, really. I kind of waddled out the door, though.

I used to like Shoney's Breakfast-bar. I'm afraid the surrounding area has no Shoney's. I take that back, we still have one about 15 mis. down the road. I'd love to know if it's still there.

Well, 4 and a half hours later I'm still grinding it out. I'm into the money, and we're down to 30 players. I'm a little under average stacked, but the blinds are getting big and it's time to make a move.

I don't really like buffets or potlucks. Food tends to all taste the same after a while and it's not fresh.
A bunch of us at work went to an Indian buffet a while back. That was tasty.
