Have you ever had "a lot to lose"? Not bashing, just curious... it's one thing to look at today's economy or watch the news and be glad you don't have that much stress because you don't have much to lose. It's a completely different thing to have actually experienced both sides (not that I have one way or the other).

Despite the overwhelming number of morons who got themselves into trouble during the housing boom, and who are stressing over the economy, I'd venture to say there are more people who are well off and have little to worry about... people who actually keep track of how much money is going in and out every month, and people who actually end up saving some every month.

Yeah, money doesn't buy happiness, but it helps.
