He kept cashing the checks though and Herm and Carl have done their pathetic best to try to win. Tony said he was all aboard on the rebuilding. I guess he just is panicking now that it is harder than he thought. I don't feel sorry for him at all. I feel sorry for us as KC fans that we invested so much money in that our beloved franchise player is just a tight end (and a punter). Dear God, why can't it be in a Left Tackle and Defensive End? For starters, correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe he signed the extension a few days after the end of Herm's first season, so it's not like Herm had been here for years. Again, shame on him for wanting to stick around. He sees what we see... not that the rebuilding is hard, but that we aren't rebuilding. The same thing we see... Herm is clueless, Gailey is handcuffed, other players want out, etc. So, he didn't sell high, so much for loyalty. :rolleyes:
