Enter the voting booth now! Decide the future of Chiefsplanet! (Or at least, the two candidates who will enter the general election.)

Vote early and vote ... once. You can vote in only one primary.

With 1% of precincts reporting, SNR has a 66 percent share on the Republican side, and Cronus is running at 100% for the Democrats. Further updates as precincts report.

As a loyal planateer and lurking "noob", I must say I am a little uneasy about the planet having a political affiliation.

The last thing I want is my chiefs news distorted by either wing. Or a wing that in real life doesn't represent my beliefs as a chiefs fan.

Come on. there's got to be more love for UP out there...I love Ultra Peanut. I've worked with her side by side for as long as I've been a Chiefsplanet member. We've bashed n00bs and collaborated on a variety of viewpoints. I've even taken a huge step in my sarcasm by typing in all caps and putting out some form of internet garble, all because of her leadership.

But Ultra Peanut is simply unfit to lead this forum.

I strongly urge my fellow Planeteers to vote for Ultra Peanut. We need the kind of ground-level change a UP administration would usher in.

I'm going to crack open a Bell's Two Hearted Ale, put on Pam Tillis' "Maybe It Was Memphis," then watch some old college footage of DeAngelo Williams. Then I'm going to dream about the future.

(Not that Two Hearted, a Michigan beer, has anything to do with Memphis/UP. It's just delicious.)

Isn't UP a radical Leftist?I'm not a radical anything. That's why I'm running as a Republican. I want to show the Planet how much they can trust me by navigating a partisan minefield and coming through by exhibiting my leadership.

A vote for UP is a vote for a level-headed administration and, perhaps most importantly, YOU. I'm doing this for you.

I don't know about that, but just yesterday I heard he has a racist pastor.

Even more importantly, I've had DeAngelo Williams on my fantasy team for the last couple of years because UP said he was going to blow up the league and the dude hasn't done squat for me with the exception of a couple of weeks ago when he finally had a teeny tiny explosion of production. SNR wouldn't have led me wrong like that. In fact, IIRC, SNR told me that if you want a fantasy link to Tennessee, take the Titan's defense but stay away from DeAngelo Williams and Vince Young. We need a leader who can see through the hype and recognize value, not a homeboy cheerleader.

I only regret that I didn't do more of what I was doing.

The primaries are hereby closed, sayeth the election commission.

In the Republican race, voters responded well to anything ultra, and that included Ultra Peanut. SNR fought a good race to the end, but eventually his low levels of support among drug-using Native Americans cost him the race.

In the Democratic race, the Cronus/Simply Red team outspent and outmaneuvered joey, to whom voters were, quite ironically, cool.

LET THE GENERAL ELECTION BEGIN! LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, YOUR FIRST BATCH OF MUD MAY NOW BE THROWN.
