Where does rivalry stop and emotional detachment for the sake of smart business begin?
Consider the following hypothetical:

Denver offers KC a 1st and 2nd rounder for Tony G. The picks are unconditional however if KC accepts this deal Denver with TG will win the SuperBowl next year.

What do you do?

It's been fun, Tony. Don't go drinking with Javon Walker if he's in town.

I don't think there's any doubt that we would be smart to take the deal.

I'd be torn. Sure it seems like a good deal, but there's a good chance the drafted players wouldn't pan out given our shitty history with picks.

I'd say stick with the known factor! We'd suck anyhow with Sperm leading the charge...

With that defense, Tony still wouldn't get his ring.

Wow, I didn't think so many would take the deal. I admire your calm detachment.

You saw the word 'hypothetical' in the post didn't you?

What you call "calm detachment", we just call numb.

All the "NO! We can't trade the face of the franchise to Denver!" people are on their lunch breaks...

Overvalued. By far.

Except for the fact that the Broncos suck at drafting, so they'd probably get no one important with the picks anyway.

Cutler, Marshall, Royal, Schefler all beg to differ with you on your opinion of Denver's draft success.

If you follow the hypothetical the trade would result in a Bronco SB win next year. Still think it is overvalued?
Would you give a 1st and 2nd round pick to win a SB?

13-4 in favor of trading TG to the Broncos resulting in a Denver SB win. I have to admit I'm a bit surprised.
I wonder if the results would have been different a year or two ago?

you should make the same deals with one team as with another, unless you're directly in a playoff push or something.

Him going to Denver is not going to change our chances of winning a super bowl in the next say 5 years.

Fuck that. I could never stand to see tony play in Denver. No way no chance not for all their god damned picks. They can burn in hell

He'd be a Bronco and it would take me about .5 seconds to make that decision.

The Broncos are going to buy or draft an entire defense next year?

That's good news.

1st and 2nd? Go hang out with Cutler and have fun being a Bronco. I hate the Broncos but a 1st and 2nd would go a LONG way to helping us rebuild this team.

Actually yes, I would of never traded TG to Denver ever.. But the moment we hired Herm we stopped being a real NFL franchise...

Now trade away, our franchise is so fucked it will take years for it to recover...
