I guess I can kind of see why CBS didn't want to air it yesterday.

Good promo but I kind of question the characters used for just because they don't really fit with the theme of the game. At least, they didn't to me.

They're not from the game. They're prophets form all places and times predicting the end of the world (Chimeran Invasion). But I can see how it could be expected that way.

I don't know, I liked it. I think if you pick up on the fact that the people are foretelling the end of times it works. If not, yeah, I could see how it would ruin the entire thing.

Fabulous commercial. I was tivo'ing through the commercials and caught the last 3 seconds of it and had to rewind to see the whole thing. It made me want to buy the game.

I played some of the beta and I'm surprised at how much they've changed the game from the first one. The first Resistance was a fast paced shooter ala a PC game, Resistance 2 is much slower paced and feels like Call of Duty.

COD4 kicked halo 3's ass for online and R2 is really trying to match up with COD4 so I would put R2 second based on gameplay alone.

That's mostly what the beta is, or at least what I've played of it, deathmatch and such. I have no patience to learn the new weapons and their intricacies, so I just stick to COD4 for now, but once the game hits, I'll pay the campaign and then go online.

all I see are a ton a players going everywhere and nowhere all at once. heh

It is cool though. Just the fact that they can support it is great.
