I know I'm gonna get flamed. Hell, he may even flame me himself if he had the opportunity. All I'm saying is, the guy is a phenominal talent. Period. Even with this abortion of a line we have, he was top 3 in rushing before the bye and the sitdown.

He's getting to that age that I think a lot of people wake up. He's been paid. We're not getting anything for him. Now is not the time to just walk away from him IMO. He at least needs to be here in 2009 to find out where he goes from here. We literally have nothing to lose.

I think the prevailing philosophy on the planet is that we should start the person with the most recent date of birth regardless of talent. I saw a thread here the other day where people were advocating starting newborns.

Larry can't block, yada yada yada. The game he doesn't play we lose 2 QBs and go for 58 total on the ground, which tells me its not Larry.

LJ let me down big time, but I still think him and Jamal sharing the backfield can be effective. I definitely think Jamal needs more touches though. Like Tenn and ATL did it.

I saw a thread here the other day where people were advocating starting newborns. That's not nearly as radical as the thread where someone was advocating starting babies in-utero.

I can't argue with their logic though, no better protection than the womb I suppose. It might be a little awkward for the mother though, laying on her back and lifting her dress so our new star WR can make those critical 3rd down catches.

If LJ can get some help and become the leader he's capable of being then I hope we keep him. But he should sit the rest of the year, get help and show that he can support his team mates with a positive attitude. KC gave him the big dollas to be a franchise player and leader in the locker room. He's been the opposite.

Larry is just flusterated that our offense sucks and is so predictable.

I can already see it. LJ is going to go to the Pats for a 6th round pick and a box of milk duds, and we all know the rest...

Let the next GM and coach value his services and decide what to do with him.

Sure we do. In fact, I'll put on my gene hat and tell you what we have to lose in the next couple of years.

We'll have a 30 year old, power back that'll average 3. something yards per carry.

His best days are behind him. Statically there's no denying that when you look at 30+ year old RBs.

I wouldn't have problem with him as a backup but you know how he's going to react to that. :shake:

Yep, the real genius of it is the Pats have other (sorry ass) teams pay for their big name players. Pure Genius.

I hope he runs into a chick who can kick his ass. Not a rival thing just have no use for men (I use that word loosely) who hit women.

He's a turd, and he's done. The only reason he's still here is because Carl is an idiot and didn't trade him when his value was sky high.
