Watched a special on that last night. You guys had some cuties at that event too. Is that the best BBQ event to go to in KC?

It used to be, but it's become kind of a big corporate invite only clique fest. I think the Lenexa Chili Cookoff is much more fun. Smaller but friendlier.

Interesting, we have lots of chilli cookoffs out here but only one BBQ competition worth going to. They throw it in Reno. I would really like to get back out there next year.

The scenery is pretty nice. Especially when the weather is warm like it was this year.

I'll agree with that. We compete every year in the contest. It's really just drunkenness and debauchery disguised as a BBQ contest. The top teams are invited to the Royal. We're not in that league, but make some damn fine Q.

I'm thinking about starting a Contest down in Greenwood. Anybody have any interest in competing in a cheap startup contest?

I went on the Friday. There didn't seem to be a problem getting into any of the individual parties, I only had an invite from one but went to many. The place was a giant party for everyone that was there, invite or no invite. I ate myself sick. I'd advise taking the shuttle, parking looked like a nightmare.
