I was shocked to see that the game is being shown here in Nashville - I thought last week's game finally took us off semi-national tv coverage.

However, I'm going to the Predators game tonight, and I'm pretty happy that I will be able to take a week off of Mizzou football.

I want to agree with you, but we just got pisspounded by Texas, and not only did Ok. State beat us, they took Texas down to the last play on the road. They are a better team than us, especially on defense.

Yes Oklahoma St's defense is better than ours, I agree with that, but we just played a bad game against OSU. Texas whooped our ass though. And yes OSU only lost 28-24 to Texas, but OU lost 45-35, so is OSU better than OU? I dont think so.

And the kid from Marshall didnt even play at Marshall, he played at Northwest a school with 150 kids.

Missouri could be a very very good second tier program for a long time if they are able to recruit well in state and pick off some talents from bordering states and poach from Texas.

There have been so many good players that have left the state it's just sickening.

That is one thing Pinkel has done well lately. Almost all of our recruits so far are from Missouri, including Sheldon Richardson, and we've dominated in state.

However, the state itself only had two really elite recruits. It's not a treasure trove of talent like Florida, Texas, California, and to a lesser extent, Pennsylvania and Ohio.

Chiefs ought to draft this kicker in the fourth round. He's just going to get better & better. And how cool would it be to have a KC kid (even IF he is from OPKS) as a Chief?

It's a good question, but I have no idea. I could see him being a candidate at Tennessee if they shitcan Fulmer, or even Michigan if they meltdown and Rodriguez gets the axe after one year.

With that being said, he's got a pretty good deal here. Good facilities, decent boosters, not much pressure to win, pretty soft division.
