I have been very sceptical of Axl's new band.
I have heard some their new stuff, and I have to say I'm impressed. The song "better" is great along with others.
Coming out November 24.

I heard Chinese Democracy on the radio last week.

It was actually pretty decent.

it's still not as good as the old stuff. I for one won't be buying it, and I own all the previous GNR albums except Lies.

The song I heard on the radio just sounded like noise.

The guys will be performing all the tracks live at my halloween party. I'll let you know what I think.

I'm not too big on the Chinese Democracy single, and like I said have been totally skeptical of Axl, because this is NOT GNR. So keep an open mind about this band. They have some seriously good musicians. Robin finck, Buckethead, and Brian May of Queen lay down some serious shit in songs like "The catcher n the rye" , "There was a time" , " Madagascar" ,and my favorite "Better". Check out the rest of the songs before you make a judgement. Only 10 of the songs have been leaked but they are not final versions. Check this album out. I think you'll like it.

The main thing I can say is that most of the songs don't sound like that industrial techno noise that is the Chinese Democracy single. There is some serious melody on this album. Some, may I dare to say, remind me of the old GnR.

R you fukin serious? The new GnR? Is Robin Finck gonna be there? Can I come?

I think they will sound great, but it will not sound like the album.
The Album is layered many times over. Like Use your Illusion.

This isn't the real GnR, but it's some pretty good sounds.

"They" are and always will be my favorite band.
Still looking for bootlegs of them all the time.

They could be my favorite if they would release more than one LP, an EP, a double LP, a cover LP, a live LP, a best of LP, and another actual LP 17 years after the last real LP that they had.

The "They" you are referring to as releasing an LP 17 yrs later isn't the "They" who released an LP 17 yrs prior.

I mean the guy that was with them 17 years ago when they released the LP and now released a new LP 17 years later with his new friends. If they would have continued as a band and kept on releasing material then they could have been my favorite. Is that better? I hope that it is. I am so confused that I forgot what the heck we were talking about.
