I know it's fucking Halloween but Herm going with the spread O? Thigpen all the sudden QB of the future after a good game against a weak defense?

We are in the twilight zone.

If Herm is smart he will back off his statement to go back to what was not working. We were at least competitive with the offense. If he'd rather go back to losing by three touchdowns and watching this offense do nothing, then good for him. If you play to win the game then you have to use the tools that are given you, not stick with something that isn't working just because its what you know.

The jets D was ranked in the top 15 if I remember correctly. Thigpen had a good game because the Jets weren't ready for AIR THIGPEN!

Herm Edwards has to win with the football philosophy he calls his own.
Certainly he could be putting these players in a better position to win, but that would constitute him doing something that doesn't fall in line with his beliefs about the NFL. Philosophies in this league die-hard.

It's unfortunate too because it's obvious this could be a significantly improved team if he would just allow players to play to their strengths.
