well, if we changed the scheme for the offensive side to make it work. Lets dump the tampa 2 defensive for a scheme that would suit the type of players we have on that side.

Better, you can tell Herm's hands arent all over it anymore...

When Gailey's allowed to run his scheme the D can't put 8-9 players in the box any longer.
This is basically the same offense he ran with the Steelers when Kordell Stewart was there.
What I want to know is who told Herm to keep his fucking hands off of the offense. Herm's influence was still apparent in the second half but not like before. This offense is fun to watch, unlike the Herm ball we've seen since 2006.

This is more what I expected to see from Chan Gailey, to be honest. I think it's pretty apparent that Chan convinced Herm to let him tweak some things once Brodie was out for the season. Chan knows a thing or 2 about offense, and how to ADAPT depending on your personnel. The one thing that amazes me is that Herm let him do it...of course it still seems like Herm gets in the way from time to time.... Herm: please be smart enough to know what it is that you don't know and let your coordinator run the offense without your input....please.

The opponents have been kept off balance the last 2 weeks by the play calling AND the players are executing much better. Thigpen looks very comfortable in this offense.
