The question wasn't directed at me, but I'd say no?

SD held us to under 80 yards on the ground. We went 0fer in the 3rd quarter, never gaining a 1st down. Our 2nd half possessions consisted of 5 punts and a TD.

I don't get it.

TW was saying that the only reason that Thigpen played so well against the Jets and Panthers was because they played flat, and that the Chargers would be motivated and Thigpen would really struggle against them.

I'm still waiting to hear TW's take on the reason that Thigpen didn't struggle.

it really gets me that so many were on the "San Diego's 3-4 d will give thigpen fits" tip, didnt happen. now the same peopel instead of just saying that he might be ok are saying "well until he plays against a tough physical d i'm not sold". you know? just say you were wrong. dont make excuses. i'm all over thigpen. hoping he's THE GUY. if not i will say i was wrong and go on. EVERYONE is wrong sometimes and there should be no shame in it...
