look pretty good, despite being somewhat mismanaged for several years. I haven't really followed them closely, so it could be that they've been making some brilliant moves that I don't know about. However, from my memory, they have:

1) Drafted Wendell Bryant in the first round.
2) Drafted Bryant Johnson (in the first?)
3) Signed Edge to a huge contract
4) Drafted Leonard Davis high in the first and then let him walk.
5) Drafted LJ Shelton in the first.
6) Let Vanden Bosch walk
7) Drafted Lienart in the first
8) Drafted Arrington in the 2nd.
9) Drafted Thomas Jones and let him walk.
10) David Boston, Andre Wadsworth, etc.

I'm sure there are more, and I realize that some of these go back a bit, but it amazes me that they look this sharp today. Every team makes bad moves, but the Cards have written the textbook on bad moves. Did lucking into Warner make this much of a difference?

Also, they really should have tried to deal for Gonzalez. Their offense with a monster TE would be scary.

They have a ton of great draft picks to though think about it...

Did they ever extend Boldins contract?

Hard to say the "lucked" into Kurt Warner. They signed a former MVP and proven commodity, and after years of hot-and-cold they are getting a good season out of him.

Nope he has 2 years left on his current contract I believe, but wants a new deal, as he thinks he deserves more money, and most could not argue that

I'm not impressed considering all their dumb penalties tonight.

I heard he wanted to be traded before the season, wonder if he still feels that way. He does need to get paid, they have 2 #1 WR's

That is basically what he was wanting, give me the contract that I deserve or trade me to someone that will. Can't blame him, the guy goes all out all the time.

Look at their draft over the last five years and aside from Leinart and Brown, they've been aces on a lot of their high picks, and been as good as anyone in the 2nd-4th rounds.

Mods were having some fun with a bunch of peoples names the other day, BuckinKaeding was the first then we were poking fun at him, and ours were changed.

Would really like it changed back :)

The Cards need to eliminate those penalties.

You don't need to go there. We settled that a couple weeks ago.

I use to make jokes about how Arizona would win a bowl before the Chiefs...it's not so funny anymore.
