I've got Giants/Skins and Browns/Colts. Hopefully between the two I'll get something exciting to burn the time. I hate it when we have a late game.

I'd like to know why the NFL pimps the Browns so damn much. I swear I've seen them more than the Chiefs this year.

Giants receivers are playing like crazy! Two TOUGH grabs for Hixon and a long TD to Toomer. Hopefully none of them shoot themselves in the foot (so to speak). ;)

And I've got the Browns/Colts game on. I'm hoping Reggie Wayne pulls out a f*ckin superb game today. I'm down big already in my fantasy league. Dude I'm playing got 41 points off of two players on T-Day already.

Chris Long just abused Jake Long on the pass rush and forced Pennington to get rid of the ball early, and laid the wood on Chad.

This was about Jake Long.

This is the first time I've seen Jake Long left on an island against a speed rusher this year, and Chris Long just ran around him, while Jake Long was still trying to figure out which foot to move.

Wow... Eli has so many weapons. Eli just threw to ward (RB) gained 48 yds

GDamnit.... Manning fumbles on the goal line on a QB sneak.

Dylan

No really... he was in for a couple of plays. the Giants are not really running the ball.

The Redskins are doing a good job of stopping the run

cleveland got away with taking a helmet off on the field.

11-30-2008, 01:10 PM
That is really a dumb rule. He recovered it on the end line. Shouldn't it be a TD.

I understand not being able to pick up the fumble and run with it but just recovering it isn't really advancing it.

I was just gonna say that they scored all their points for the rest of the season last week. It helps when you're playing a Freshman team.

I'm hoping when Clark cleans house at the end of the season -- and I believe Clark has no choice, the K.C. Chiefs stay clear of any coaches that have west coast in their resume.

no Brian Schottenheimer -- the Jets i/m/o switched to Favre's offense . The Jets style of play is very Giants like. In fact, the Jets are ahead of where the Giants were at the same time last year.

In the past few weeks the Jets turned into a power running team, they're playing smashmouth defense. The secondary is playing one on one, and I believe they lead in QB sacks -- Hats off to Woody Johnson, the GM & Mangini. They're acquistions really paid off. things can happen very quickly from one season to the next. Things will change...

I've got a question for you Dylan - how do people in NY decide to become fans of either the Giants or the Jets? Is it a geographic thing? Or are there some other demographic characteristics that make the difference?

I'm just curious how people choose when the two teams are both in the same stadium.

Thank you for asking. New York City is made up of five Boroughs. People who reside in Manhattan, the Bronx, Westchester, a good part of upstate NY and New Jersey mostly root for the Giants and Yankees. To be honest, I grew up and went to school in Manhattan - I can't recall one student that was a Jets fan. They didn't hate them. In my case, my parents were Giants fans.

People who reside in the other boroughs of the city -- Long Island, Brooklyn, Staten Island and Queens mostly root for the New York Jets and Mets. They're fans are also younger than the Giants & Yankees fanbase.

I like the Jets --I really like football. As a woman -- I have great compassion for the fans of struggling teams. The Giants struggled for a long time. In fact, a member from ChiefsPlanet reminded me that the Giants went to the Super Bowl in 2000. I honestly forgot about it.

That kid from Memphis scored 4 TDs in the game. Not bad. J. Stewart could of had one but he was exhausted after running 35 yards and was tackled from behind.

DeFace, Here's a funny story you might have missed. When I was young, my family always had some kind of Giants attire. The red white and blue hat or sweatshirt. I did not want to wear red white and blue. I wanted to wear red and white -- the colors of the Kansas City Chiefs. So, my parents bought me red and white Chiefs attire. I had KC Chiefs pajamas -- a hat and sweatshirt. LMAO

I can't believe I'm repeating this story ========
