I would like to see Him and Carl go head to head with the #2-4 over all pick...

That would be epic and priceless all at the same time...

I could tell by the way he was acting, if he could have snuck that raw onion up to his eyes without the camera catching it we would have seen a river of tears.

Oops...my bad, it was Leigh Steinberg

The Maguire character is based on Leigh Steinberg who had a cameo at the end of the movie. Cruise has also said he drew inspiration from Sidney Falco, the Tony Curtis-played publicity agent in Sweet Smell of Success.

I believe he did save a drowning child. I think the police credited the child's life with drew's CPR.

Heh. You didn't read down far enough - the weasel is based on Rosenhaus. LMAO

The movie features a character, "Bob Sugar", who is based in large part on Drew Rosenhaus (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Drew_Rosenhaus) (who also makes a cameo appearance as himself), one of the National Football League (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Football_League)'s most aggressive sports agents.

He wouldn't be able to get away with this if the media would call him on his bullshit to his face.

I enjoyed the fact that he absolutely refused to say that carrying a loaded gun into a night club is bad. When you lie in bed at night and think about how you refused to say that people should not be carrying guns into night clubs, it might be time for a little soul-searching.
