Don't have a pic, but my house is lit up like the Griswalds. I get a lot of compliments, but not for the lights as much as one little display I put in the corner of the yard by the street. Picture this....... I stick three garden hoes in the ground, handle first with the blades pointing up... then a light shining up on them. (hoe, hoe, hoe) And under one of the eaves I have a lighted NOE. People are so slow.... always hearing someone say "there's no L" hahahahaha.......I love it!!!

I'm a little depressed that I don't get to put up my display this year. I usually put lights in all of our trees and bushes, lights on the house, pathway marker lights, inflatables and other lighted displays.

I'm slowly building up until I can go into full on Griswald mold. I love buying discounted decorations after Christmas.

Next year if you see a strange glow in the sky coming from Lincoln, you know its me.

I'd love to see how things like these spread. Like animated on a map or something. I bet it would look pretty cool.

Not as cool as if the people who started them, didn't (in most cases, anyway).

Given that e-mails are somewhat independent of geography, I'll bet the spread map would look like freckles on the map, distributed by some combination of population and gross domestic product.

Kick back and enjoy your afternoon now - right up until the wife/SigOther comes home from work and sees how you managed with the task she's been griping at you to do.

Does your wife have any other daughters?

one, but she still lives at home. as i was getting ready to leave for work this morning, she asked me to start her car for her. she handed me her keys and said, "oh yeah...a light's flashing on the console that says "add coolant". what's that mean?"

It means it needs the cobwebs blown out of it. Take it out on the highway and run it up in the big numbers.

You're in luck! Microsoft is teaming up with Yahoo! to create an e-mail tracking system that gives people money when they forward messages.... I read it in an e-mail....
