I really don't have a strong preference... Just as long as it's new blood.

Please don't hire within Clark.

This is the Chiefs once again I'll believe things when I see them but this is a team that practices the good ole boy network..

And if it is someone within or some fool like Bradway nothing is going to change.

And if it is someone within or some fool like Bradway nothing is going to change.I can see John Schneider getting the position.

From his resume:

Schneider moved on to the Kansas City Chiefs in 1997 as director of pro personnel, replacing the late Mark Hatley who had resigned to become vice president of player personnel for the Chicago Bears and later served as the Packers' vice president of football operations (2001-04). It was in Kansas City that Schneider first worked with Marty Schottenheimer, whom he would later join in Washington. With the Chiefs, Schneider oversaw the scouting of all players with pro playing experience, including NFL Europe and the CFL, as well as the NFL. He also conducted advance scouting of all Kansas City opponents and assisted in free agent acquisition, playing a significant role in the signing of consecutive team MVPs Andre Rison (1997) and Glenn Parker (1998).

At this point a 3rd grader would be an improvement so I'm not too worried about it.

Damn your depressing.

The Chiefs just did something un-Chiefs like. I am back on board with Clark because he did what he said he would do last off-season

Haha, it's great going back and looking at all of the people who were on the bandwagon to get rid of not only Peterson, but Clark too..now all of the sudden he is there hero. It's amazing what goes on around here. Just face it, 100% of us never know what's going on behind the scenes.

Seriously??? They're the masters at building a team. I can't stand the Patriots, but they know how to build a good team for sure.

I can see John Schneider getting the position.

I'm more of a Tom Wopat guy.

See his resume:

Tom Wopat (born September 9, 1951 in Lodi, Wisconsin) is an American actor and singer.

He first achieved fame as Luke Duke in the long-running 1979 television series The Dukes of Hazzard, along with John Schneider. He also played Jeff, one of Cybill Shepherd's ex-husbands in the TV series Cybill.

This guy, I think could do wonders.

I agree.

He's worked under Ozzie Newsome for the last 11 years.

Youngest guy to ever be named a College Scouting Director for an NFL team.

They have drafted extremely well in his time in Baltimore.

You guys dont do stuff by the book. Its by your own drum beat. I say most of that is with Belicheck and would be hard to do outside of your organization.

I agree with looking closely at the Ravens. They went to the big dance, simmered down some and are already on the upswing again. I've always considered Ozzie Newsome one of the best GMs out there. They aren't perfect, but they've made alot of good moves. Look within the Giants, Ravens, Steelers, Colts, and Panthers, IMO.

Baltimore has never had the franchise QB. That is why they never have won more than one. But they have tried like hell to find one, looks like Flacco might be the guy for them.

A young, hungry guy like Decosta that comes from an organization like Baltimore that drafts extremely well is exactly what we need.
