Does this finally mean we're going to kick ass and not lose out on Hugh Douglas?

Hopefully, the next GM won't be on vacation when the FA period begins...

This time around, Ed Hartwell will decide within 12 hours.

It can only mean good things in terms of potential free agents thinking of coming here.

Can we ban Claythan for the next 24 hours? I really don't want him pissing all over this great day.

Dude, it's beavis, what do you expect? He is probably the only person on here I don't like more than you :D

That being said, I think our FA situation might be more of keeping guys from turning FA. i.e. Tait, Allen.

Good question, who held the purse strings, Carl or Clark??

We now have instant credibilty. Carl just needed to keep his ego in check and sign quality players. Unfortunately his ego, fucked up more deals, than helped.

I get a fucking woody thinking about the cap room the next GM is going to have. Man we could be looking at a very different team next year...

Yeah, but it's only half of the equation.

The decision the new GM makes on the new (hopefully) HC will be even more important to potential FA's, IMO.
