My wife got me a gift certificate to design my own Nike shoes. I've picked the style of shoe, and am now working on colors. Of those shown in the poll, which three styles do you like best?

I've got total 'Lost Boys' wolf-feet. For those who don't know the reference, the original movie with Keefer Sutherland has a scene where the "good guys" go to the Vamp cave, and the Vamps are all sleeping upside down and hanging from some sort of rafter.

Don't spend that yet. If I were you I'd contact a consumer fraud attorney ASAP. That isn't a design your own shoes. That's simply a pick your colors shoe. They already provide that service at the shoe store. I would demand they make a shoe from your own hand drawn specifications or settle out of court.

The closest they have is orange, which is pretty cool, but it doesn't match the metallic gold very well. This is a problem as I strive to create the perfect shoe.

Nikes actually aren't a bad shoe if you have the right feet for them. A EEE width automatically disqualifies Clayton from that category, though. The toe box is narrow and they try to keep a really slim profile which means that wide feet get pinched and rubbed in all the wrong places, leading to blisters and pain.

Also, not that this is necessarily a factor, but NB has kept quite a few of their factories in the US vs. Nike which is the king of sweat shops.

Of the choices those are the best of a bad lot :) I have always known the Rain Man was hip and the fact I hate them most likely means they are really hip! I would be a bit worried about Simply Red not liking them as he shops at Blooming Dales and stuff :)
