Without this getting into a pissing contest and not naming who the HC, GM, or any other member of the Chiefs will be next year, what will you consider improvement next year? Does 5-11 work for you or will it take 11-5?

I don't really look at it by wins and losses, I think with the schedule and the likely changing of everything you'll see with a new regime you're looking at no more than 4 or 5 wins.

As I recall we play a lot of good teams next year. I'm guessing it'll be no better than a 5 or 6 win season at best.

i went with about .500 The west is going to suck and if they can at least compete for the AFC West title, i would say its a good year. If we stick to the bottom again, then well. I hope the defense plays better is all. I am tired of us being at the bottom on defense. I grew up watching the Chiefs be dominating. Not this crap.

I 'm just wondering. Not being a smartass but it seems like a 9-7 HE team next year would loathed more (by this board anyway) than a 6-10 team by anybody else.

I wouldn't bank on that...the Broncos team is very young so I'd expect improvement out of them and San Diego could just as easily go 14-2 as they could 8-8.

Not if they are bringing Norv back, they won't (go 14-2).
