Obviously the situations are different and our fan no show numbers and the reasons behind them are worlds apart but I found this interesting.

The real sad thing, there are people turning in Season Tickets in droves right now. Don't know how many people here went to the games this year but each week it got worse and worse with the no-shows. Tickets were going for $15 ($55 FV seats) on stub hub and people were passing on them. Nearly 8,000 no shows in the Inve$co finally and people barely booed. With this team struggling they aren't going to put butts in the seats and Bowlen will hold off spending yet again. Our FO Personnel would have loved to go after Jenkins, Rogers, and even Corey Williams, but the price tag was too large. It wasn't the compensation, it was Bowlen saying, "NOPE"!

The worst collapse in history. FACT. Sad and maddening all at the same time. At least we've drafted well lately, gives us a little something to look forward to.

I wish I had a camera for the Bills game. There were sections, huge sections that were empty. Guessing, I would say sections as big as 50 seats were bare! My tix are $95 per. The guy and the gal sitting in front of me (Bills fans) bought their tickets for $75... I said well you save yourself about $40. Her response... No, $75 for both, my Christmas present. I guess she was more of a fan than he was. I'd also add that in the 5 or 6 games that I went to I only noticed the same people a few times. Can't say that I blame the ticket holders for selling their tickets. During the beginning of the season you could get close to full price for the tickets.

Check this out: http://denver.craigslist.org/tix/966065155.html Selling tickets on the lower level for $50 a piece with a free parking pass and couldn't sell them! half price plus a $50 pass and no dice. Then take a look at this link... I'm sure there were some people that didn't update after selling their tix, but 7 pages of sales on Craigslist alone! http://denver.craigslist.org/search/...cos%2C%20bills
100 listings per page avg about 3 tix per listing, That's a little over 2000 seats on CRAIGSLIST ALONE!!!
Seriously, the # of no-shows announced was in the high 7ks. People used to really boo when they announced the no-shows, even that has died down. I guarantee Pat Bowlen is feeling this in the pocket book and it WILL affect his decision on offseason improvements. In fact, we Shanny walks I wouldn't be the least bit surprised to see a no-name cheap HC brought in.

I remember reading an article (some where online) where a team was tracking if season tickets where being sold via ebay and stub hub. The team was cancelling the season ticket holders that sold the tickets on-line.

God it's hilarious how this played out.

It would even be better if we didnt have the worst defensive line in the history of the NFL and set the sackless record to when teams played 14 games. lol thats pretty funny as well.

But they have the best young QB in the league!

(Maybe if all the talking heads keep saying it long enough it will eventually be true.)

it's the economy stupid
real Bronco fans would sell their children for tickets
but child labor is too costly these days
