Adam Schefter article claims it would cost the Chiefs 8.8 million in cap to move LJ, only 8.2 to keep him. I don't see the Chiefs taking that kind of cap hit, however they will probably have the cap space to do it.

Send his ass to Detroit 2 wins to 0 wins. I am sure they have women and bars.

Detroit sounds right up his alley. He could be and associate with fellow punks.

If someone pops a cap in Larry's ass, would we still take a cap hit?

Alot of this depends on the morals clause in his contract and how much we can recoup due to LJ's insubordination and arrest record.

No, but Larry would.

I was under the impression it was 3mil when he got suspended by the League. I could be wrong.

It's Wisconsin, Bwana! We can get Leinenkuegel, Stephen's Point, and if we're really desperate, OLD STYLE FTW!

The cap hit seems pretty insignificant to me. Especially in light of the team's current cap status.

I was on record earlier this year as being in favor of redoing LJ and Tony G's contracts to get them all their gauranteed money this year and use the $30 million of free cap space this year thereby freeing up cap space next year and making them more tradeable. But, no one listens to me.

Dallas might give a 1, 3, and 6 for him.

I say trade his ass to the Patriots, he's the 2nd coming of Corey Dillion

8.8 for a player not on the roster. They pay 8.2 had have a pretty good NFL RB.

Do they still brew Brown Derby? Nasty, nasty, nasty swill. That would be a "fair" trade, but what the hell would you do with it, kill the neighbors dog? :doh!:

I don't believe Dallas owns their #1 anymore......it is represented in one Mr. Roy Williams the WR.

Gotta love it... Leinie.com (http://www.leinie.com/av.html)

We should go out to other boards and negotiate a trade, based on local beers.

They could still do that, couldn't they? I assume they have until June 1st. Am I wrong?

if it kills the neighbors dog, you might be able to use it as antifreeze...

I did a Pale Ale that I'm fond of earlier this year. It's long gone now though. :grr:

You got me thinking though that it might be time to fire up the brew kettle once again. I need to try something new. What to brew, what to brew...

Not familiar with the cap enough to answer that but I don't think the Chiefs want to pay out $20 million immediately anyway.

It's been a long time since I had a sip of the vile gut rot, but from what I remember, I would hazard a guess that that would implode the engine if you put that in your vehicle.

If you get on a porter, or a stout, it should be ready by the end of next summer. :thumb:

I thought about doing a porter. Maybe I'll get a batch of porter bottled up and then brew a batch of amber ale or the pale ale again that I can drink this spring.

:hmmm:

If he wants out bad enough, he'll restructure to where he'd be tradeable.
