What do you expect in order to consider Pioli's hire a success, or (if you don't think we can see success in one year) proof of being on the right track?

After going 2-14, losing some close games, horribe D, and showing some moments of brilliance, I can't expect more than making and losing one playoff game. In reality though, a season over .500 is going to be a BIG step.

A super bowl in 2 years or Pioli is a failure.

LOL, I don't think the record is going to be good next year either this is gonna take some time because even if you listened to Pioli he basically knows this roster needs a major overhaul.

I believe the hiring of Pioli
will give Clathan enough confidence
to get atleast to third base with an 6 or better

I really don't expect more then four or five wins. We are probably going to be starting a rookie QB, and we have a ton of holes that are going to be filled by a lot of new players. We have to find some good pass rushers, and even if we get what looks like a good pass rusher or two in the draft/free agency, that is no guarantee that they will pan out right off the bat.

I might be mistaken, but I think we have what looks like a pretty difficult schedule next season. It will be tough to turn this team around to a .500 or better team in one off season. Our team is really horrible right now.

he will keep herm cause Herm wont be allowed to make any decisions and a new coach wont fix whats wrong gives him time to find a real coach and he can weed the crap out we have on this team on his own.

The team will suck in the next season, turn around the year after.

This team could be vastly improved and still win only 4 or 5 games.

We may win the AFC West. But that's no big feat at 7-9. :)

But, I will be happy with any improvement. Of course it mostly depends on the head coach next year. In my opinion, the best draft in the history of the NFL will be negated if Herman Skerman Edwards is the head coach.

This team has way more talent than the bad teams of 1977. A good coach can get results pretty quickly, I think.

Well with a new coach and direction, no matter what the record it will be a success... IF Herm is still here the season is an automatically a fail and black spot on the legacy of Pioli...

Next year? Seriously I'd be happy with 8-8. But winning the division with that record isn't out of the question.

Oakland - bleh
San Diego - bleh
Denver - just as much turmoil as us

For a 2-14 team the Chief's are being dealt a pretty decent hand division wise.

I would like to see them equal the win total of the last 2 season, 6 wins total in 2009. I also would expect us to be a strong competitor at the least for a playoff spot in 2010.

With the brutal schedule we have next year I'll be happy just to get 4 or 5 wins.
