1- Herm will shake up the staff, keeps his nose out of the Offense and shows enough progress to get a new contract.

2- Bill Cowher.

3- Mike Holmgren.

4- Mike Shanahan.

5- Brian Billick.

6- Mike Martz.

7- Kirk Ferentz.

8- Jim Harbaugh.

9- Other (suggest a name).

Other. Can't give you a name because it is some assistant coach whose name neither of us would recognize.

My prediction is the next HC will not be some marquee name everyone recognizes but someone we all have to google because he the DC for the Dolphins or secondary coach for the Ravens.

Then disregard Herm and vote on the other options.

BTW, I included Harbaugh, because he'll probably be mentioned as a NFL candidate this time next year.

If Herm stays this year he will be back next year. I don't see that happening. We will move on and rid ourselves of the clown and rebuild so we can lose in the divisional round some more.

If Herm stays, Cowher is our coach in 2010.

I say we sign Herm to a lifetime contract..or something similar to what Magic Johnson got from the Lakers..the guy has been a class act here in KC and he deserves something special in return..

That would be disappointing....

I would give anything to get something fresh and new.... But we are the home of retreads, no need to shake up status quo....

I heard a rumor that Cowher said he would come back in 2010, and he would like to coach the Chiefs if they still need a HC then. :doh!:

I'd buy in to Cowher if the need for power softens.... otherwise someone else.

Can we afford him and his chin both?

Can we get Prince for the opening weekend halftime show? He can sing a new version of 1999. We will call it, "Party like its 1989"...

We can have mandatory mullet sunday and all whom drive camaros will get to park for free...

It will be like the 90's all over again...

Man I cant wait!

Probably not. But, EVERY day that he is still here, the percentage goes up that he will be back.

Pioli is currently evaluating him. Do I think he stays? No. But, I also didn't think that Pioli would be considering him at this point.

The main reason I would like Herm gone right now is that if he gets another year, then he will do enough to get an extension. He will have the Chiefs back to 8-8 or 9-7 and in contention for this division.

But, it will be just another step in mediocrity for the long term.

I think that once Pioli sees all the game films... and his press conferences... he will fire his fucking pathetic worthless cocksucking ass.

Don't bet on it...The way Clark talks makes me think otherwise.

I voted Herm............for one reason. The ONLY way Herm is here next year is if he receives a contract extension. A lame duck coach is worthless and you know it, Clark knows it, Pioli knows it...............hell, even yellow dog kniows it.
