Lot size?

Granite counter tops? This is a passing fad, so I hope the home had a different solid surface option.

What about closet space? Cool there?

Oh, and is he allowed to chill in his driveway with a small kiddie pool and snap beers? Is the HOA ok with this?

I know what everyone is going to say...he wanted to let the new GM fire Herm.

What worries me is that they will wait for Cowher and stick with Herm for one more year.

Who's the real estate genius in your family? That's 5 bathrooms: 3 full, 2 half. Two half bathrooms do not make a full bathroom. How do you do the math with a 3/4 bath? Huh? With your math a 5 bathroom house with 2 full and three 3/4 baths would be 4-1/4 baths.

If Bowner found a public record of Bill buying a house then its confirmed. It proves that at least he didn't just make it up and decide to post some BS to watch the Planet react.

Now, that doesn't mean that he's coming here but, why would Bill buy a house in the KC area?

They are still distinguishing each individual bathroom. A house with two 1/2 baths is not listed as one full bathroom. 1/2 + 1/2 = 1 bathroom is wrong.

Most homes that show 2.25 baths actually have 3 “bathrooms” involved that total this configuration. The most common setup is one “full bath” plus one “3/4 bath” plus one “1/2″ bath, that totals 1 + .75 + .50 = 2.25 total baths.

After reading more of the previous link it's apparent people in real estate are completely confused over the issue. It's quite comical. All I can say is that if my house was listed by someone that called 2 full/2 half baths "3 bathrooms" they would be fired on the spot.

Wellll thats completely different. But why would Cowher hang onto a house for 15 years or so? Just an investment? No way he would rent it out. Why bother with that hassle?

Even if he did buy the house. Pioli has full control of football operations. Cohwer isn't going to want to come to KC and not have a final say in some things.

That search of records doesn't mean that he does. It only means that at one time he owned property there.

I used that site to search myself, among the results was "4 Addresses in SAVANNAH, GA."

Well, I haven't lived in Savannah since 2006, I don't own property there anymore and those addresses would have to go back at least to 1993. So ...

I think some people in here should loosen up, CP is a great place and the more newcomers get this kind of shitty welcome, the more they will turn to other places.

I'm just saying.

I find it difficult to believe he held on to a house for 15 years, but the record isn't proof that he recently purchased.

If he did come to KC, then it would likely be a partnership similar to the one that Belicheck and Pioli had.

Either could veto a decision by the other.

They worked together and came to mutual decisions.

That being said, I find it highly, highly unlikely that Cowher is coming to KC.

I was going to post a new thread about this, but for now I'll just throw it in here instead.

I don't think that it's any secret that people around here are a little uptight about news coming out regarding (until last week) our GM and (now) our head coach situation. Given that, here are a couple points to consider regarding thread titles.

If you're being intentionally misleading in your thread title (e.g. "Herm fired!" when it's related to something he did with the Jets or whatever), you're gonna get a vacation and most likely lose your thread starting privs. That's the way it's been for a long time now, and probably isn't going to change.
If you're posting something that you heard from a friend or some obscure web site, there's nothing wrong with that. When we're this starved for information, that may be all we get! However, do us a favor and start the thread with the word "rumor" in the title or add a question mark to the end of your title to let people know that they shouldn't consider your thread to be a statement of fact.

FTR, I think this guy falls under the latter, so I don't see any reason to start throwing the "ban" word around.

After reading more of the previous link it's apparent people in real estate are completely confused over the issue. It's quite comical. All I can say is that if my house was listed by someone that called 2 full/2 half baths "3 bathrooms" they would be fired on the spot.

My mechanic told me my OBD had no power to it. I scoffed, and took it to Advance Auto to have them plug it in and see. My mechanic must have been completely confused over this issue. I thought it was quite comical.

I have no power to my OBD.

I still fired my mechanic.

This board is awesome. People slam the guy for not having credibility, but may I ask, why some of you have more credibility over others? Because some of you have 10,000+ posts? The way I see it, none of us work in the organization so why would any of us be trusted more than others? I guess, if you stated something and it turned out to be true for no other reason than coincidence, some of you might count that as credibility. Anyways, think about it..I think it's possible that the NFL sent out a memo simply stating that any organization who was going to have big news may want to hold off from releasing it until after the Super Bowl. Yes, I know, the Lions/Denver/Rams all announced Head Coaches, but who cares about those guys. Now, if the Chiefs were to sign Cowher, that would be huge news and take away full exposure from the Super Bowl. Just like the Chargers are keeping quiet about LT and the Cowboys are shy about the TO nonsense. Just wait a little longer and we'll learn that Herm is being released and someone else is coming in..

Some people have overreacted to this n00bs thread, but respected posters that have been around for a while have earned some credibility and get some benefit of doubt.

Nothing about Noob(s) in The Lexicon...

The phenomenon of new users coming in and finding it irresistible to cannonball into the pool is not uncommon. It's so pervasive in fact that said behavior gets the derisive 'noob' comment.

It's akin to saying, 'Hey everyone, some new jackass came in and just dropped his pants for attention', but simply stating 'noob' is faster.

This too.

Does this sound familiar.............?

Apparently, plenty of folks in Cleveland have heard that former Steelers coach Bill Cowher has bought a home in Strongsville, Ohio. It's creating a buzz on the Internet, and for good reason. Cowher's purchase of a North Carolina home in early 2006 fueled rumors that he would be leaving the Steelers. After the 2006 season, he did.......

It probably means nothing -- I'm sure it means nothing -- but it's somewhat interesting that Cowher, a guy who could purchase a home anywhere he wanted, has chosen Strongsville, Ohio. Assuming he really did purchase a home in Strongsville, Ohio. Rumors are fun.
