What's your preference? What brand is your go to brand? I enjoy the hand rolled stogies, but have only tried a few kinds and want to find out what others are enjoying.

My favorite was always the Partagas Series D Number 4.

When you're out of the country of course! ;)

My favorite is the Montecristo Tubo Especial.

I tried a Romeo y julieta maduro, but it just didn't have the good flavor of montecristo, so I stick with their line.

I have tried a couple Montecristo's and liked what I've tried of them. My brother is a 5 Vegas fan, I haven't tried them yet if they are good they are relatively cheap also. I almost got some Romeo y Julieta's the other day, but my brother said he didn't like them that much.

Nothing will ever top the Cuban H. Upmann Cuban a friend of mine bought me for my college graduation. Without hesitation, the best cigars I've ever had. Even better than the Cohibas she bought me a couple years later.

Without either of those as options, the Playboy by Don Diego is a fine, mellow smoke. I've also always been impressed with anything by CAO and Don Juan (for a little spicier smoke). I like bolder, robust cigars.

this reminds me of that Seinfeld episode where kramer is supposed to hire cubans or something to roll cigars, but instead gets Dominicans. cigars just weren't as good

I've only smoked a few times, so I'm still only into light ones. I tried a heavy one, and I couldn't stand it. So far my favorite was a Zino.

Around Christmas a couple of rare seen friends were home and Jim brought a couple Tatuaje Tainos we smoked with some good scotch. They were as good as any cigar I've ever smoked but I wouldn't consider myself a connoisseur.

Anyone else into Philly Blunts btw? Does anyone actually smoke the cigars or does everyone just use them for weed. I'm just curious.

I have never once heard of anyone getting a Philly Blunt for the tobacco in it.

They are over rated. The only reason they're so attractive is because of the legalities involved.
IMHO a good crystal Mac or the patel is better.

Never gone wrong with a Cohiba Robusto, but availability depends on locale.

Rocky Patel is always a good choice. I also like Onyx for playing poker...don't know why.
