Perhaps someone has thrown his name out there, but I don't recall seeing much discussion on him...

John Mitchell comes from the Belichick tree (Cleveland) and serves as the Assistant Head Coach and defensive line coach (for the past 15 years) in Pittsburgh.

There's a nice article on him here: Steeler's assistant head coach a pioneer on and off the field (http://www.pittsburghlive.com/x/pittsburghtrib/sports/steelers/s_599717.html)

Could he be the man Pioli is really waiting for?

Is there a reason that nobody is after this guy?

Wow, impressive body of work defintely. Has been a part of that Steelers Defense for a long time now. Defintely would give him a look if I were Pioli. :hmmm:

Great credentials, and it's nice to see someone in the sports press parroting my particular reason for indeed agreeing that the Steelers are the best overall franchise in the AFC.
