Really fun game to watch. I love this up and down stuff, they may run OSU out of the gym today, but if MU ever gets into a tourny, with TV timeouts alil' longer well that Deep bench won't make as big of a difference. Dumb comment award of the night goes to the announcer that said "He doesn't need to worry about the dunk, just getting the ball through the hoop" Ok dumbshit, the dunk is the highest % shot in basketball. It is a wierd feeling, because just like I watch MU football and wonder where the players will go in the draft, I start to look at Carrol think "He might make a 4 at the end of the bench in the nba" I know that is a stretch, but the fact that entered my mind is a credit to how many athletes MU has gotten lately.

That announcer was wrong to even make the excuse. Clemson was a 24 win team last year and a #5 seed in the tourney. (They lost to Davidson in the 1st round, but that's not so bad in hindsight).

They lost to Villanova in the first round. I remember because I was interested to see who Kansas might play, and it was a complete abortion of a game... Clemson was up like 15 at halftime, Villanova came back, and the last 5-10 minutes was a comedy of errors which showed neither team was capable of winning the game. Villanova won only because Clemson has been doing the collapsing thing for years (in both basketball and football), and Villanova just couldn't compete with that level of ineptness.

Typical Mizzou. The refs caused us to lose that 25 point lead. Losers.

A win on the road is not typical Mizzou. At least not in the last 6 years

Refs called a jump ball under Oklahoma State's hoop. The arrow meant it was MU's ball. There was no way it was a jump ball.

It made up for the foul they called on us as Eaton was traveling like a frequent flyer

that jump ball was terrible. Ususally the refs make a bad call on that anticipating a foul. I think that ref was anticipating the dwarf to get the ball stuck in a tree

dude, it's a road win in the big 12, doesn't matter how ugly it is!A fuckin' men.

Jesus, that was a clusterfuck at the end, though.

Nobody can ever beat Mizzou. The refs have to do it. Give it a rest. MU has NEVER been to the Final Four. Damn refs!!!

I admit, it's a combover.

The nice thing about a game like this, is the fact that %90 of the time Mizzou loses. (Flea kicker, Tyus Edney, 5th down, etc.)

This one went our way. It's about fucking time.

if there is any team that deserves a break it is MU. The sad thing is you aren't going to get 20 out of lawrence probably ever again, It would have been a shame to see that wasted

Despite the wilting at the end of the game, that was as inspired as I've seen these guys play out of the gate in a really hostile enviroment.

They did control the game for 35 minutes... on the road.

Regardless of how it happened, a win at OSU is nice.

Mizzou's big problem against NU and Illinois was that they seemed to come out completely flat. Then, in the second half they played well enough to make it close.

This time they came out on fire... and struggled in the last 5 minutes. (went full-on retard, I'd say.) But they still got the win.... for once.

If they'd lost this game... man... I don't know how they could recover from it.

As it is, they won... and they're in great shape in the Big XII.

They made stupid decisions when OSU started pressing them. Dumb passes, ugly shots. Hopefully they will continue to learn this year. Last year this was SOP. This year they seem to understand when to slow it down a little bit.

Considering no one gave MU an ice cube's chance in hell to win this game I would say this was a good win regardless of the last few mins.

A close win on the road may have done more for this team than if we had continued to run them out of the gym.

Not sure the oddsmakers consider "snowball's chance in hell" when determining the line.

Regardless, OSU was picked to win.

Do you need for me to explain to you how that works?

I like the win, but it seemed like everything had to go right, and they still won. I would like to see the bench shortened and some of the guys play longer, still a good win and I bet I forget about the blown lead and thigns later. Just like the football team, can this style of play win against the big boys? Or just get us to the cusp of being with the bigger teams. I will take it no matter what, it is better than we had it, but in the back of my mind it's just I have this feeling it is look MU's football offense, good enough to beat teams

Hell of a win for Mizzou...

It seems they are the best team so far in the North, having the best road and home wins, which really isn't saying much so far but it's still nice to see them playing well!

They are 16-3 and there are still many more doubters than believers. Anderson's starting to get the right mix on the floor. I like Leo off the bench, and that goes for Lawrence as well. More Ramsey and Bowers is a good thing.

Stay on the roll, Tigers!

Final 4 bound?C'mon now, Reerun. No need to be a tool.

Making the tourney would be nice, and seems very likely. That's better than we Mizzou fans have seen in a while.

Anything after that, is pretty much gravy.

I like the way Anderson has things going.
