HUGE panoramic of inauguration

[Fire Me Boy!]

A photographer by the name of David Bergman took a ginormous panoramic photo at the inauguration with a shocking level of detail. So much so that you can even zoom in and see Yo Yo Ma taking a picture with his iPhone!

It was built from over 220 separate digital pictures, containing over 2 gigabytes of image information.

This is mostly unrelated, but have you seen that discovery episode on the guy who took a spy camera from an old satellite? He put it in the back of a minivan (large camera), and uses that has his tripod...er 'quad'-pod maybe. I dont remember the specs but I know he took a picture of the Grand Canyon, and you can zoom in over a half mile or mile and see the words on a little kids T-shirt as he is looking down in the canyon. It is truly freaky.
