Well, what happens to these guys.... We are blowing up the organization again. Do they keep the aging TE who wanted Herm back? Do they keep the "promising" young QB?

or

It's too early to tell... Wait for the new HC Jackass....

They are both under contract as Chiefs. I don't see an issue.

So, what do we know about Shanahan's coaching style? The young guys don't really know any better. But I wonder if a guy like tony would be more likely to push for a trade if he didn't like the way Shanahan runs his practices, etc.

Thiggy will throw for 51 touchdowns, go to the Pro Bowl and win MVP.

I know this because it happened in my Madden franchise.

Where is Tony going ? Isn't he signed for a few years.

Shoot...the way Shanny uses the bootleg, Tony should be creaming his pants.

those are the only two players on the team who should not be traded.

Tony will stay. If anything....Tony should be happy right now. Clark Hunt just proved that he's serious about winning championships.

Thigpen is under contract and I'm sure they'll give him the opportunity to win the starting job in TC.

They are both under contract as Chiefs.

Yeah, so was Herm.

IF Shanahan is the new guy I'd think TG would be happy. Shanny showed a few years ago how well he could use a quality TE with Sharpe in Denver. Alot of folks out here felt that some of Denver's problems the last few years was that they didn't have a good TE to complement the rest of the offense.

Yeah, so was Herm.

So now you are equating a future HOF TE, who does his job, to an incompetent coach to attempt to prove a point?

I want another Coffman in a Chiefs uniform. TG is a winner, regardless of the Chiefs' record.

The Chiefs' new "system" will make it damned hard for LJ to pick up an NFweLfare check.

No. "Under contract" means that. And only that.

Which means we KEEP THEM, if we WANT to. The same could be said about Herm, we could have KEPT him, if we wanted to.
