I cant wait for his interview after we draft a QB in the 1st round.I do have a feeling he'll touch on this. You know, the whole, "here's what I don't want the team to do... I like Larry, I like Tyler, yadda yadda"
He'll give out a list of demands

Tony basically just admitted that Herm didn't have any control over the locker room. Which for a players coach, is pathetic.

Shanahan has put together great teams. I would have no problem bringing in a proven winner.
Tony's gonna sit back and wait and relax. Pioli signing is great. He's not going to worry about trade. Only worrying about how long it will take to get team good again

Worried about how long the "rebuilding" will take.
Now, backtracking a bit. Says he wants to stay.

Of course he's under contract. Pioli will make sure that he won't go anywhere unless someone wants to break the bank.

Does anybody really see the Chiefs being contenders in 2 years? I mean if Pioli rebuilds this whole thing as he probably should, it should take atleast that long to get to that point.

As stated earlier if they draft well this year, and spend some of the cap dollars they have I could see this turning around pretty quick.

In today's NFL i shouldn't take more than 2yrs to turn it around. See Dolphins, Falcons, and many, many more.
We're no as far away as most believe. A few impact players, and good coaching could get us to 11 wins quick.
