This one will likely be a little harder.

Populations are from Wikipedia, so ... whatever. We'll run with it.

I've got 11. I've also passed through the Johannesburg airport, but didn't spend the night there.

Some of these would be kind of hard to get.

Not a single one. I never liked crowded places anyways, although I've always wanted to go to Chicago. I did however stay at an 50 square mile island in the Caribbean that boasted a population of about 250 people.

9, plus 1 airport...

Surprised it's not a public poll - would be interesting to see where people had traveled...

LOL 1, Toronto

But, truth is, really have no desire to travel to any either. Too many cool places in the US still to go. I missing 4 or 5 states I've yet to go to.

If we had 5 million poll options, I would've included that island.

I have the US cities. NY, SF, LA, and Chicago. Never been overseas. I have been in Canada and Mexico multiple times, but only within walking distance of the border.

I've got New York, Seoul, Mumbai, Delhi, Cairo, Los Angeles, Paris, Chicago, London, Hong Kong, and San Francisco. Of the ones I haven't hit, I think I'm most interested in Istanbul, Bangkok and Moscow. Kinshasa and Tehran would be interesting, but I don't think it'd be really healthy to go to those places at the moment.

If we can fill up this list most of the way, I think we should take up a collection and send a random member to the cities that don't have any votes. For ten bucks each we could probably send a few people to Lahore or Shenzen for a night. It's kind of like collecting those quarters with pictures of states on them. Once you get so far, you have to work hard and finish it out.

I'm surprised Rome wasn't on the list - that's the only major European city I've been to, unless you count Barcelona.

London, Paris, Chicago. Really enjoyed London. Talked (and drove) funny enough to think you was in a foreign country but you could still get around easily.

I used to work for an international law firm that was headquartered in London. If I'd stayed there longer, I probably could have weaseled a free trip to England, but it never happened. I did get to go to New York twice on the company dime, though. That was nice. Being put up in a $450 per night suite in Midtown Manhattan (and this was 11 years ago) doesn't suck.

I was surprised that Singapore had a population too low to make the list.

I'm surprised some of the cities that I've been to aren't on the list like Rome, Madrid. Really surprised there are no German cities on the list. You'd think Europe would have a lot more crowded cities.

I'm American, but I've lived in Asia the past three-plus years, teaching English.

I've lived in Seoul/Incheon for two years (teaching).

I've lived in Jakarta for about six months (my wife is Indonesian).

I've also visited Bangkok for a couple weeks, Kuala Lumpur for about a week total (several trips), and New York City for, I think, 3 nights.

Not on the list, but I've also stayed in many, many other sizable cities (maybe 5 million plus, let's say).

In the US:
Philadelphia
Washington, DC
Cincinnati
Baltimore
Las Vegas
Orlando

In Canada:
Montreal

In South Korea:
Busan
Gwangju

In Japan:
Fukuoka

In Indonesia:
Denpasar, Bali
Yogyakarta

In Malaysia:
Kuching

In Italy:
Rome/the Vatican
Florence
Venice

In Laos:
Vientiane

In Singapore... well, Singapore.

I've also visited North Korea, to a national park, believe it or not--if anyone doesn't believe it, I can link to pictures of me there--but didn't visit any cities there (it's not allowed without a nearly-impossible-to-get visa).

Been to Istanbul, Paris and San Fransisco. Strangely enough, though I grew up in Germany, I've never been to any of the cities that make up the Ruhrgebiet (Essen-Dusseldorf).

In case anyone was wondering why they've never actually heard of Essen, it's because the city of Essen is only the 7th largest in Germany. But the metropolitan area surrounding it is massive, which is why Essen made the list while larger cities like Berlin and Hamburg didn't.

As most of you know I've traveled and seen most of the world over a 2 year span. Way too many countries and cities to list. Pretty much the whole world except, Russia, China, Australia and South America. Although this was a good list it left out the most beautiful city in the world, Jerusalem.

And yes, I have pics. :)

Pretty cool. It's weird to think about how they keep their population so isolated from outsiders. Thanks for the pics.
