What I've learned is unless the Steelers play the team with the bigger fan base than them..the Cowboys, they're going to get a serious number of calls.

It doesn't even take into acount the personal foul on Wilson which was about 4 yards and the 15 yarder they were going to call on Harrisons pick...they would have made sure Arizona didn't get a TD to close the half.

This is the same thing that happens when a physical team imposes their will over another and ends up shooting more FT's in basketball.

Pittsburgh's blitzing and pass rushers are overwhelming Arizona and you get holding penalties like that one. Dude turned his helmet sideways, of course it's holding. But people think the penalty count should be equal every game in every sport.

I know, because fans have become just as big whiners as the NFL. It's always the officials fault, all the mistakes don't matter, just the officiating. It happens in every single sport. The team that exerts their physical dominance over the other tends to get the calls. It's always been that way. Just shut up and go play the game.

That was a legit defensive holding call. He had not one but two hands on him downfield, and that's going to get called. I know the "CARDS GOT JOBBED!!!!!!" storyline is an easy one to create in your head because of the shitty non-grounding roughing call, but everything else since then is completely defensible unless you somehow believe the vulnerable holder isn't protected under the auspices of the rulebook.

You only have to be outside where the tackles line up. It is like 3 steps to the left. I don't know where he was, but I wouldn't be at all surprised after the scrambling if he wasn't outside the box.

As far as roughing, that gets called every time. We may not like it as fans, but that is the way the NFL has called it for the last 10 years.
