Fitzy was the best player no doubt. But since it's PC to give the MVP to a winning player, it has to be Holmes. He came out on that last drive and basically single handedly took them down the field and in for the TD. That was a great game.

I think I will go with Harrison... His punch to that dude on the ground was pretty awesome...

He earned it!

Are you joking or do you think that being a good guy is part of the award?

Fitz was because he was consistent through the whole game. Holmes missed a TD catch that should've been caught.

Not joking at all... That is what the NFL is all about...

The ref that didn't call the block in the back on the TD just before the half.

:spock:

What does that have to do with it? I think he should be the MVP for 2 reasons, one for the INT return TD and the other for kicking the crap out of that guy on his knees...

What? I'm talking about a prior MVP.

I dont care that they lost, Larry Fitzgerald was the most valuable player on the field for either team.

Holmes.

Had Arizona held on to win, i would have said Dockett

It has to be Warner. He's the reason that the Steelers won! They couldn't have done it without that INT.

Holmes definitely deserved it. He's going to get so high before he goes to Disney Land it's not even funny.

What a great day for stoners across the nation. First we find out the best olympian of all time smoked weed. Then hours later Holmes wins Super Bowl MVP months after being arrested for marijuana. Why don't they make an anti-drug commercial about that? It's a lot more realistic that I will someday be an 8 time gold medalist or superbowl mvp than a two-dimensional object stuck to my couch.

Breaston played the game of his life out there. He did exactly what he should do. Catch balls when in single coverage (which he's in most of the time because of Fitz/Boldin). I think Warner needs to be on your list. He f'd up big time and then was able to correct it. The complaint you could use is that he did it too quickly... but that's a bunch of crap.

Warner didn't make my top 3 because you've got to get that last pass off.

I think Harrison should have got it. If he didn't pick that off, they could have easily went into halftime down by 4 or at worse, tied. It changed the whole outcome of the game IMO. Also he got Gandy to commit 3 holding penalties on him

Fitz was because he was consistent through the whole game. Holmes missed a TD catch that should've been caught.

that would make a lot of sense if the "whole game" wasn't comprised of a first half... he had a grand total of one catch in the first half.

Fitz or Holmes.

Whenever Pitt needed to make a catch in the 2nd half, Santonio Holmes somehow found a way to get open. Holmes is the rightful MVP, imo.
