Any interest in Boldin?

And apologies in advance if this has been asked/polled elsewhere. In Vegas and don't have time to search old threads.

How about a 1st, and 2nd, for Warner and Boldin?

Why would he want to come here after his issues with Haley and would Haley even want him?

Realizing it won't happen, is it your stance that you honestly wouldn't give up a second for Boldin if it could? I mean this is one of the best receivers in football who is only 28 years old. You wouldn't give up a second for him if it was possible. Like I said, I know there is no shot in hell of it happening.

I fear he is the second coming of T.O.

No, I wouldn't.

He's talented, but he's not the type of receiver that we need opposite Bowe. Additionally, it wouldn't make financial sense to tie up that much money in Boldin and, eventually, Bowe.

this, plus Boldin hasn't been the same going over the middle since he's been "out with a face"

How about dropping you off at the 'Blue Oyster Bar' in a sundress with a gallon of Crisco?

Damaged goods, and I doubt Haley would bring him here anyway.

It would take to give up Haley because I don't think he'd want to deal with Q again.

ChiefRon

Well, it is hypothetical, "What would you give up?", not "Let give up blah-blah to get him here", so technically it's a fair question but I don't see it happening.

It is going to take a second rounder IMO to get Boldin. I would love to have him in a Chiefs uniform. First off, the guy has not lost one step and continues to be an animal over the middle. Saying he no longer does after the hit in the Jets game only shows you have not seen him play outside of the playoffs. But, the Chiefs have too many holes to fill to be giving up draft picks for players. Boldin will not be in KC next season.

Hypothetically, I'd definitely swap LJ for him. Boldin is a great player, great talent, extremely tough and strong. He has become a bit injury-prone though. But LJ is worth this -><- much to us now......sure I'd swap them.

2nd round pick and Larry Johnson.

How about a swap of 2nd round picks... and maybe LJ.

Is it part of the fun to believe that Haley would want to trade for a player that embarrassed him on national tv and distracted him during what was then the biggest moment of his professional life?

That is all we saw of the relationship between the two guys. And wasn't this an isolated incident between the two, not a reoccuring event. What they have said is that they have much respect for each other. And Haley has said already here that they are going to make decisions based on what will help the team win. If he deems Boldin worth of someone who will help us win, then I think maybe it is possible he is a Chiefs.

It depends what Boldin would give me. I don't have anything from him to give up in the first place.

Yah, I was thinking during the Presser yesterday. Well, we won't get Boldin now.

Let's see,

we're gonna trade for Cassell cuz Pioli came from New England. Now we're gonna trade for Boldin cuz Haley came from Az? Maybe, just maybe, these two will build a team with there own players.

No we would trade for Cassel becuse we are a little weak at QB and we would trade for Boldin because he's better than any WR on our roster. (not that I think (or want) either.)

Boldin is exactly what Bowe should be, a monster in traffic and a bitch to bring down after the catch.

Let's focus on developing the latter and leaving much needed resources (pick and cash) for other areas.

He already is that. He just needs to work on his hands. He is basically Boldin without the hands.
