As I said a few days ago, the close games that CU played agaisnt KU and OU reflected KU/OU's weaknesses, not that CU was actually an improving, good team (because they're not)

Hmm....Texas Tech does suck, but I wouldn't be surprised if KU is in the middle of a 2 game losing streak after Saturday.

I know you can't see it, but they're playing some damn fine ball. A couple defensive lapses, but overall just incredible to watch.

I got to run, but great game. Knew the let up was coming in the 2nd half, and could have won by a lot more had they kept the pressure on. Hope they play this well Saturday.

GAME NOTES (from the Octagon)

- First 15 minutes of the game was awesome. The rest sucked, and was pretty god damned boring tbh.
- Governor Kathleen Sebelius was in attendance for whatever reason.
- Blake Young was also in attendance
- They introduced the new university president tonight to a thunderous applause
- Frank Martin has won 6 conference games in a row. Jim Wooldridge could only manage 6 Big XII wins in his best seasons. But hey, Frank is just a high school coach, and a desperation hire.

I bet Sebelius was there because of the new President. Btw, been hearing rumors that Sebelius could end up the new KU chancellor.

Yup, I sat in the first row behind BY last night. He got lots of love before the game. Good game, although I wish we wouldn't have taken the foot off the gas and let them keep up in the second half. I would have liked a 40pt margin. If it wasn't for TT laying down so many 3's in the last 5 or 6 minutes, it would have been a massacre.

Listening to Wyatt and Stanbo (horrible btw), that first 15 minutes must have been incredible. There were apparently three great drives (two bu Dom and one by Deni, that almost lifted Wyatt out of his seat.

Hope there's a rebroadcast. It sounded great.

You know, that's pretty interesting. She seems to have some good options politically. And I think in this economy, KU would want her to remain as governor. Both universities are going to be begging for more $ in the coming years to offset huge losses in their contributions.
