I live in the heart of Nascar but I'm not a super fan like I used to be. I usually have the race on TV if there's nothing else on mostly for background noise. There's way too many commercials to sit and watch it on TV.

XFL was working at the box office, just not on tv. Also mine would have direct NFL affliations to keep fans involved that way.

Turning my attention to my Derrick Thomas card collection :D

Been collecting his exclusivley for about 15 years. Just picked up about 5 more today between e-bay and Beckett.com including a sweet auto that I had never seen available to buy before today. I snagged it the second I saw it.

With all that I should receive in the mail this week that puts my collection at 605 different DT cards. Beckett.com list around 800 total of DT.

It's really cool what they are doing with cards these days I have several with Jersey,shoe or helmet pieces in them.

But, I guess I'm going to watch NBA games on sudays. We have NBAtv so it should be easy to get a couple games in each sunday. Then I can watch a bit of Royals baseball when the season starts.

I dont know how the hell you guys watch Nascar.

No collections. I do have a plaque that spells out "chiefsfan" and I have a card in each letter of that. All cards are either Game Used material or auto. All of those player cards are from the Vermeil era, Green,Dante,Holmes,ect.

The best armour in the game right now requires you to run the same 6 instances over and over. I needed a break from that. My kinship's probably wondering where the fuck I am.

Took the war department to the ER. She managed to misstep and fell off the steps creating a nice 5 cm laceration in her right shin. 9 stitches and a tetanus shot. Kind of a change-up as she normally has to take me in for something stupid that I've done.

I got up this morning and went for a walk, the weather was great. When I got back I made the wife and daughter french toast with strawberry sauce. We had some fresh strawberries and half a loaf of french bread........damn good stuff, restaurant quality if I say so myself. Valentine's breakfast a day late.

Ran some errands (including going to the mall, I'm in the wife's good graces right now), took another walk, made a lasagna. Now I'm drinking beer while the lasagna cooks.

All in all, not a bad day. I miss football but I have to admit that I'm a lot more productive on off season Sundays.
