If any of you have been craving that ChiefsPlanet t-shirt or beer mug, now's your chance! Luv has done a great job of getting a variety of products started, so you can actually see the types of things that may be possible. You'll find a link to the store in the navigation bar in the upper-right, or you can check out the store here:

It's still pretty preliminary, since it takes a while to get things set up. Suggestions for improvements or requests for additional products are welcome. Also, if you think you'd enjoy working with the store to create new products, shoot me a PM. It'll be much more fun if people can keep a variety of products going.

One thing I'll mention is that they have the ability to do basic embroidery, but you have to pay an up-front cost of $40 just to convert the image into an embroidery file. So, if there ends up being enough interest to generate $40 in profit, that first $40 will go toward getting some embroidered stuff going. After that, profits go directly to the server fund.

Yeah, the only ones they have for non-embroidered hats are the trucker hats, so we'll have to wait on those. I definitely agree, though.

Also, I'll mention that we've left the "customize it" option on most things, so you can add different text, move the logo, change the color, etc. on most items.

Got my stuff yesterday. The beer stein is really nice. My only complaint is that they send everything separately, which means you pay shipping for each item. Kind of sucked for items like the keychain and bumper sticker.

Just as a warning (that's probably too late if you just bought some stuff), the hats on there aren't anywhere near the quality that Phobia got back in the day. Theirs are just trucker hats with a screen-printed logo rather than embroidered.

I've seen other sites take orders and money until a sufficient number was reached and then all merchandise was made and shipped at the same time. People would have to understand that it could take a month or two to generate enough orders to ship. Doesn't seem to be a real problem for those people since they knew they were depending on their fellow site members to finish the order. In fact, those who ordered and paid typically pressured others to purchase to finish out the order.
