Yeah, I didn't think I would find it today since I don't have the sports package, but one of the stations I do get is YES since I live in the northeast. And they sometimes show Big XII football and basketball (for some reason).

It's kind of weird that there is one channel out there devoted to ONE team, and not a city or region. They show such weird programming sometimes. Goofy stuff like after school specials, and interviews with movie stars, replays of Yankees games from the 90's, etc. And then you get stuff about Penn State football (kind of understandable with JoePa being from the area) and Big XII football and basketball.

Must be nice to have an organization with so much money.

Looking for open shooters instead of someone just to pass to. That quick shot sucked, but I know what he was going for there. Get it out fast so they didn't have time double, he just needs to be more calm in doing it.

They are a bunch of midgets. I wouldn't want them crashing the boards either. You get everyone back on transition D to prevent the easy basket.

I like when we hit 3's, but I hate when we are relying on guys who don't usually make them. I want to see more work inside and mid range.

So what do you guys think his NBA chances are?

I have a friend of mine that thinks he is done afer this year. I think he's too short to play in the league, but his response was, "he's averaging almost 20 AT KANSAS. That doesn't happen."

Yeah, but he's averaging 20 at Kansas in reload mode. This is not last year's Kansas.

He may be short, but he is bull dog strong and race horse fast and when his shot is on he is tough to stop.

Boy, I like Releford, but he still makes too many mistakes. I think he will be a big contributor to this team someday, but no so much this year.

Perfect example was a possession when he was overpusuant on D and his guy got by him a little. He looked like a little puppy chasing his toy ball and the ball stops but the puppy slides past right into a wall. The puppy needs to learn how to harness his power.

He is a little short for the NBA, but that doesn't mean he can't play in the League. There have been guys much shorter than Collins that have had long and successful NBA careers. I think Collins can play in the NBA. He can create his own shot and he's pretty good on defense. His body is built (height notwithstanding) for the next level, IMO.

Disappearing in the second half against OK will lead to a lopsided loss in my opinion. KU has developed a nasty habbit of coming out flat it seems. BUT, they may gear up for the No. 2 team in the nation, so who knows.

Yeah, they've done it all season, so I'm sure it'll bite them in the ass a couple more times. It is hard to really put it to Nebraska though... the Mizzou game was a big shock to me, because they usually enough of a pain to keep it close.

I guess you could look at it this way... they probably won't be up 10+ to OU on Monday night, so there's a smaller chance that they'll fall asleep in the 2nd half. Then again, OU has been sleepwalking for a while, so I guess OU could sleepwalk through the first half and KU could sleepwalk through the 2nd.

Any of you guys who have not read the book At Home in the Phog with Bill Self, should. It's a quick and easy read, but not on a grade school level like so many authorized biographies of sports figures. If for no other reason than to read the last few chapters about the Davidson, Carolina, and Memphis games. Self does a video break down of each game with the author.

I guess I think that because they are 25-1 (11-0), currently ranked No. 2 in the country and are playing KU at home. I don't think it's a huge leap for me to think they are a step above this year's KU squad.

Haven't gotten it yet. But I plan to check it out.

I guess I think that because they are 25-1 (11-0), currently ranked No. 2 in the country and are playing KU at home. I don't think it's a huge leap for me to think they are a step above this year's KU squad.

You must not watch them often, because they don't impress me that much. They've played close games with Nebraska, Iowa State, Colorado, and Texas A&M in recent weeks, and their only win over a current ranked team is Purdue. If KU plays their best, they can win this game.

I blame KC Connection. He now has me optimistic that KU can beat OU. If KU can beat OU, they CAN win out the reg season and at least make the big 12 champ game. If they do that I think they have a shot at a 2. From the 2 seed thay CAN win their first 2 games and play in the elite-8, which is where this team tops out IMO.

I'm beyond happy with where the Jayhawks are at the moment -- I'm in denial. IIRC, they were slated for 4th in the conference this year, and I think being 2nd has more to do with Texas and Baylor being disappointments than it does with Kansas being all that much better than people originally thought.

A lack of focus hurt Kansas like once all season last year, against Oklahoma State, and this place still imploded after that game (but there was obviously much more at stake). It just doesn't matter this year... they're going to lose focus from time to time, they're going to fall asleep, etc; and they'll learn from it.
